    LO Adult Community Center to Host Talk on Cultural Appropriation

    The Lake Oswego Adult Community Center will be holding a discussion on Cultural Appropriation on Jan. 16. Cultural appropriation is an especially hot topic during this time of year where holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving often come with ethnic groups being reduced to suggestive costumes and histories of oppression either being obscured or outright ignored in the name of "tradition."
