This year's book for LO Reads is Caste by Isabel Wilkerson. Be sure and check out the Lake Oswego Library website to see all the events happening in February and don't forget to register. Here are some highlights:
- Call for student art - submission deadline is 1/29
- Two-part Social Justice Sewing Academy workshop. Sign up this week! Founded in 2017, the Social Justice Sewing Academy (SJSA) is a youth education program that bridges artistic expression with activism to advocate for social justice.
- Movie Club. Watch the film: I AM NOT YOUR NEGRO and then join RTR and the Library for a discussion on February 5th.
