One of the most common requests we receive from Respond to Racism attendees is the desire for more opportunities to participate in anti-racism training. With that in mind, we'd like to inform you about an upcoming opportunity right here in Lake Oswego.
Learning to Undo Racism: A Workshop of Discovery & Understanding is a three session series that will be running on Saturdays from Apr. 6 through Apr. 20. Featuring presenters Kathleen Perkins and Barbara O'Hare, the workshop series will explore the definition of racism, its origin, how it functions, why it continues to this day, and how we can effectively tackle it.
All three sessions will be held at Lake Oswego United Church of Christ and tuition for the series is $125.00. If you would like to register or simply get more info, contact Perkins at (503)-360-6591 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
