“Important message from the Lake Oswego School District:”

The Student Success Act (SSA), passed last May, will enable historic improvements in Oregon’s public schools. The Lake Oswego School District is conducting a community engagement process to assist in developing a plan for investing these additional SSA funds to best support student success.

The district is seeking input from students, parents, staff, and the community. We would especially like to hear from the community regarding the priorities that should be considered to prepare our students to be productive and contributing world citizens.

You are invited to complete our online Needs Assessment Survey to share your thoughts on what’s working, what could be improved, and how you would prioritize potential educational program improvements.

The survey can be found at, and will be available until October 14.

Please join in; we would value your perspective.

Thank you,

Dr. Lora de la Cruz
