On June 7 we were joined by staff from Oregon Department of Justice explains how Oregon is leading the fight against hate. Fay Stetz-Waters is the Civil Rights Director and Senior Assistant Attorney General, Oregon DOJ. Johanna Costa is the Hate Crimes and Bias Incidents Response Coordinator, Oregon DOJ.
Fay and Johanna are committed to increasing the Justice Department's impact on civil rights issues for all Oregonians.
Both lead us through past Oregon legislature addressing hate crimes and bias incidents, the Bias Hotline, trends in reporting hate crimes, and the Law Enforcement Bias Response Toolkit.
